Weeping-willow tree reflected in lake
From land- and cityscapes, portraits, architecture, gumprints, (details of) structures to abstract photography and panorama's: I like to share the beauty that inspires me. You caught the moment Caspar. If I would paint this it would be considered false. To rectify this I would disturb the water or the real tree. Try the same again on either defocus the real tree or dibble the foreground water, or throw a stone in the lake. You have the start in the right of the picture, it would be nice if that stretched to the reflected treetop. You can always start with a photo of the perfect reflection on camera, but this way you might have a more evocative image.
Casper Cammeraat replied:
Thanks for your comment Chris, but I am not a painter. Who is considering what is false or true? There is nothing to rectify. This is how I experienced this situation and chose to show it. Another time I might have taken up a stone to cause ripples or use camera movement or flashlight to make another kind of image. It is often a matter of synchronizing external and internal vision/feeling!
